I have a question
I bought Allhamdullilah a Prius 3rd Gen. I am now very concerned about scratches from bikes and rickshaws and what not. I want to get my paint protected. So the question is, can anyone tell me what is the best method to protect the original paint from scratches and maintain the paint.
Recently Detailing Studio did an awesome Paint protection on a Honda Civic so, how protective is nano coating from scratches and till what intensity of scratch does it protect? Will all these protect the car paint and maintain the shine ? I want to get my Prius paint protected such that no scratches or swivels occur on it and less dust for 1-2 years . Which is the best procedure. Also I would like an estimated price on the method you suggest. Exterior only. With so many choices from our detailing guys that I am a lil confused.

so u don't want bike and rickshaw scratches on ur carthe only solution is to buy 2 vigo's with guardswho drive parallel to ur car on road
detailing and coating is something else
i think ceramic pro is a good option
Nothing except Allah can put protect from rickshaw and bikes
Stuff like Glass coating etc will add a thin layer but in my opinion it will just be a shield of protection against micro/fine scratches like swirl marks/spider webbing. Or maybe the scratches that your watch or jacket's buttons may inflict. Anything beyond that, you shouldn't be very optimistic.

Detailing Crew in Lahore are doing x3 layers of 9H, so will that be protective enough? Does x1 or x3 layer protect paint from minor scratches, not deep ones, such as when waiting in traffic light, the haramday bikes handle or wheel scratch while trying to get ahead in line from front or back or other scenarios. I have seen many videos on Youtube which show razer blade scratches wiped clean off on Nano Coating and ceramic Pro 9h and key markings removed as well. Is it all just a hoax or is it for real?
