What is Fe and nFe in Paint Thickness Gauge? If paint thickness gauge is showing 40.2 mil for nFe, is it genuine paint?
Thats ferrous metal (fe), which the car is of. 40.2 micro meters is too thin of paint layer, nearly baremetal. Seems like the car has been sanded/compound polished multiple times. PKDM cars have around 120 to 170 um paint thickness from factory.
