how car should be painted? if someone can explain step by step. the proper way of preparing base of metal to the end up to compounding.
the process I have seen is. first do the denting job. the denter will remove the rusty part with his fire cutter. then weld new iron sheet there. after that painter will start his job. he will apply white poutine (putty) and when it dries he will sand it with sandpaper. then apply another grey poutine over this white poutine. then again sand it. then 2 to 3 coats of paint and sanding. and then a coat of lacquer. after some days apply a compound (white cream type thing) and that painted part starts shining.
but after 6 months cracks start to form as the poutine starts breaking which was filled behind the paint and again rusting starts.
