Brick or concrete rubble piece is the desi way of doing it. Will damage the floor over time. The proper way is to get a chock block made out of wood. In fact for heavy vehicles never rely on hand brake + gear arrangement, always use chock block (in addition to hand brake + gear, do not ignore hand brake + gear).
Yes, the dynamic load is always much bigger than static load. Unless you leave it parked for years like this, the wear and tear due to normal running would be the governing factor causing need of repairs, not parking.
