Car Polish Results

Hi,

Went hyperstar yesterday and bought 4 items for my car

• Turtle wax platinum series protective extra gloss
• Turtle wax F21 super protectant with sunstop
• SONAX microfiber cloth (15 in a packet)
• Shampoo

The car is 90 lancer glx white, had it sprayed 2 weeks back. Talked with @cylestine (Ashar) about what polish etc i should be going for, he suggested Meguiars Tech 2.0. I had seen it once on hyperstar so went there but nothing from meguiars there. I think now they have got dealership etc of turtle wax, there was a lot of stuff from turtle wax there and a notice saying that all turtle wax products sold here are original from turtle wax usa.

So i had to do research about what to buy now on the spot, found good feedback on internet about this turtle wax platinum series protective extra gloss, so picked that.

Then today, washed the car, dried it and polished it. I applied very small amount of polish, panel by panel, to try out how it goes. Results in next posts. Pics of items purchased attached below

well the result looks good to me, some expert detailers can shed light after seeing the pics how it went.

i have lost the reciept, but extra gloss was ~800, F21 protectant was ~600, sonax microfiber ~500

didnt had to do a lot of rubbing etc with this polish, its liquid. Apply it and just wait it go get dry and buff lightly to get the shine. So wasnt that hard

Extra gloss is not a polish nor a wax arhter a syn liquid. To get best result first apply platinum series Wax and after 2-3 Hrs, apply this extra gloss. There will be a huge difference in depth of shine. Im not sure if you can observe this on white color.
But still you can use this in place of wax. All in all its a good product and im using it from quite some time.

Extra gloss is not a polish nor a wax arhter a syn liquid. To get best result first apply platinum series Wax and after 2-3 Hrs, apply this extra gloss. There will be a huge difference in depth of shine. Im not sure if you can observe this on white color.
But still you can use this in place of wax. All in all its a good product and im using it from quite some time.

yes, but i read on internet somewhere that if the paint is new (in my case) no need of waxing.

i stand corrected. i use turtlewax car shampoo which comes in the same size and coloured bottle. for wax, for now i m using turtle paste wax but upgrading to NXT 2.0 today InshAllah. its available here for 2.5k from Dubai autos also purchasing Meguiar's cleaner wax. getting that for 1.3k

available from Dubai Autos. NXT 2.0 is one of the best products u can find around. costing 2500 from Dubai Autos

bro i m not making profit here, relax just quoting u the rates of Dubai Autos which i got today in the morning. Shahid Autos in F 10 is giving the same for 2700 gone are those 1800ish days sir

okay, do share the results when u apply NXT 2.0

ofcourse it will be a lot better, turtlewax gloss liquid was ~800 and NXT 2.0 would be ~2500 3 times expensive.
