Car Radiator Flush and coolant Replacement

My cultus 2006 has been running on tap water. Though cooling system is working perfectly I want to do a flush and pour coolant. Reading few previous posts I found a guy saying to remove thermostat as well to flush block. Can somebody please guide me proper procedure to flush cooling system? I am going to use liquimoly radiator flush

Yes it is better to remove the thermostat valve to completely flush the cooling system Just remove the T-stat valve, and fit the pipes back ...
Now if your cooling system has no rust or rusty water, then just pour the radiator flush & drive your car for a day or 2. Dont forget to use the heater during this, as by turning on the heater, radiator flush will also pass through the heater coil & will clean it as well.
Next day, just remove lower radiator pipe & let all the mess come out. Fit the pipe back. And to be on a safe side, once again fill the system with water & run the engine for 5 to 10 mints.
Now again remove the lower radiator hose & this time you will see the clean water coming out of the system.
Install the T-stat valve & radiator hoses back. And pour the coolant in the system. Note that the heater should be turned on during all this process.
Dont forget to burp the cooling system.

Can I put back the same tstat valve after cleaning the system?

yes - use the same valve,

you will also need to backflush the system from the heater bypass pipes to remove all remains of acid from the engine, radiator and heater core.

Dear it’s better to put a new one... as there is rubber inside which may become harden after that much use... and u will open the cooling system so better put new one...

Remove heater pipe from engine side. Use a tap water hose to blow out the acid.

Do same for heater core.

If your tap water is not good then fill with RO water. Drain out. And fill half quantity of conc. Coolant.

Top up with your ro or distilled water.

Thats it.

If you are going to replace tstat with new then use the french or israel origin thermostat that comes in a genuine suzuki box.

Thanks I bought the previous tstat valve from a Suzuki parts shop in Rawalpindi. Seemed to be of good quality.
