I am getting a vehicle that has been imported from Japan, is unregistered and I have been provided with all its import, customs and auction sheet documents which are all duly verified with no issues. I have provided the seller 1 lakh rupees as tolen money and intend to pay him the rest in 10-15 days from today InShaAllah.
I was wondering if I need to sign any biyana agreement (1200 Stamp Paper) with the person to protect the car from being sold to anyone else, though he is a very nice guy, secondly I have paid him 1 lakh rupees token so do I need any stamp paper for that token or any agreement? or agreement to sell / biana?
Please guide me the procedure and after I have paid him the full amount, how to go around vehicle assement price and registration etc. This is for punjab, please guide.
