Car registration expired

I noticed today that the registration of my car has expired, it was punjab registered, now I want to know that can I register it in Islamabad or I have to register from the city of registration only though I shifted the token payments to rawalpindi, kindly help.

it can only be done from the city of registration but they said there's no need until u sell the car since new books dont have any expiry date.

What car registration expiry means. I noticed mine also has an expiry date on registration book (new passport type). What happens after it expires ? what i need to do.

Sir can you please elaborate more regarding new books expiry date? I recently registered vehicle and book came without expiry date... is it normal?

As per expiry if your book expires than new sticker shall be issued to you that will be posted on the book... but new books are coming without expiry date printed on them... still need to confirm if its normal or not....

I got my car transferred under my name on 11-May. But they only pasted the ownership details and I just found out that the reg book is already expired on 05-May. Do I need to get the new Reg book? How much that costs?

bhawalpur is part of punjab you can pay all road taxes online from anywhere. Physical file only exist in district of registration. That can also be obtained by actual owner whose name appear over regn book.
