Hello,

I just bought a Peugeot today via pay order from Dealership. It is invoinced on a third party company I got it on a little discount.
Dealership is saying that they will get it registered on the company's name and then transfer to me.
Is there anyway for the car to get registered to my name? or Shall I do according the dealership, get it registered to the company name first and then transfer to my name?

It can be registered on your name directly but you ll have to pay double taxes. For eg if tax is 100k you ll pay 200k if tax is 200k then you ll pay 400k. If you want to avoid double taxation then register in company name first and then get it transferred

Thanks for you fast reply. By tax, you mean with-holding tax, right? That is only 25K as it is 1.2T engine. So I have to pay 50K extra? Also what is the transfer fee for a 1200cc engine?

Its not adv tax. I think its called pre registration tax. For 660 cc cars its 100k. It ll be more than 100k in your case.

You need invoices proof of address in islamabad and nic copy along with biometric
