Car Registration joint ownership

Hi all,

Is there a way to get joint ownership during the registration process? Basically, my wife and I are purchasing a car and we want it to be registered under both our names. We were told by the dealership that this won't be possible. Does anyone have any solution in this regard?

perhaps there are trust issues between husband & wife ?
why she can not trust you to be owner or vice versa. don't make an excuse of filer non-filer please.

nothing in Pakistan can be co-owned beside the property under mutation or a written legal registered partnership.
