the video you have posted shows that CIVIC has BETTER acceration. Just see at 0: 08, the civic is a meter behind the altis and still at 0:10 the civic over takes the altis with its sheer torque in first gear. And in the after run the atlis is still behind the civic with atleast one car gap as seen at 0:33.

Secondly this model of atlis is WAY faster then current alits since they both incorporate the same IZZ-FE engine where as the new atlis is WAY HEAVIER then this one. So you can pretty much imagine new civic Vs new altis scenario.
Anyways we have totally drifted out of the topic. STICK to it rather then starting Honda VS toyota which results in your OWN insult!

By the way i was much disappointed by the city figures. It was once considered corolla's rival in same category.
But may be lack of ABS brakes is one of the causes
as it is an expansive system and if we add its cost to city's price it will be more than GLi's price.

there's reason of corolla being on the top...its new model has just came out a year back...while civic's came in august of 2006....it has seen its boom...now its sale would obviously on decline..the other factor is...there's a buzz on civic face lift....while the Rolla is just gettin started....so right now corolla is a cash cow ryt now...cheers to rolla owners....
