Dear PW brothers
AOA,
last time i went to service my car at the pump and he said if I want oil sprayed and rs50/- will be charged extra for new oil.
I want to know is it good to get the oil sprayed? As I saw a written note outside of the service Centre that "do not oil sprayed underneath"

Please guide me.

Please keep in mind my car is 10 yrs old.

never ever get oil spray at any part of car, oil place is in engine only, oil got chemical which will destroy rubber parts underneath.

no matter how old the car is, or either its raining weather or dry weather.

I did last time say around 6 months ago. Now I want to service my car again that's why asking.

NEVER!

axle boots, suspension bushings, different engine and gear seals etc can easily be destroyed with this oil spray..although car do smell good once its sprayed but that is just for lil time...other than that, oil underneath attracts dust/mud and it sticks to body and keeps on accumulating

Ppl spray diesel too, wats that for? Mind sharing plz. When car is too dry the car starts making squeeking sounds from the shocks especially. Wat do u recommend? I hav used oil and diesel both. Diesel in the engine bay and oil in the shocks area just to get rid of the squeeking sounds

Suspension doesnt need this service wala oil to remain quiet. Just high pressure water wash makes all accumulated dust to wash away. This is the only purpose of under carriage wash... If there is sound, maybe loose nut bolts..
