You the the same rotors machined 5 times? I think you should better check the thickness of the rotors...if you got the same rotors machined 5 times... I am sure they can crack anytime....On some rotors and drums... it even says.. max diameter You shoud never exceed that..

if you were here... your car couldn't even pass the safety test... lol

I have cultus vxri, 30k driven, facing the same problem.
dont know its time to change the disk pads or tooled the disks / rotor. anybody help?

front rotors of my honda have been tooled twice
rear rotors of my honda have been tooled once.

front rotors of my ex charade were tooled 3 times
(and it was used roughed and braked hard) .......

the machinist himself tell if the rotor has enough thickness left to be tooled. i had to buy second hand rotors once because damage was beyond repair(bad pad left deep lines)

Why should you change the rotors & discs together everytime? It doesnt make sense, change the discs at just the "right" time and the rotors should last well over 100,000km (discs last 40k appx.)

I remember my friends Honda Odyssey 2000 did the same thing...it was a used car, though bought from Honda Certified and the dealer said "its no big deal and repair would be expensive, so theres no need to get it done".

Dear all esp. hash4u & teafi99,

I took my car to one of KHARADIA and he tooled the front rotors or TAWAS and I also changed the brake dics and now the car is perfect.It added to my knowledge regarding tooling and the solution to my problem.

Nice club of experts. I appreciate Pakwheelers. You guys really find a soulution for any auto problem.

How I wish if we had a club where we could get all our
prolems solved.
