Car stalling for 1 sec while driving

Aoa PW, i went to my village few days ago and during travel i met with rain and after rain there was mud everywhere in rain OFC road conditions weren't that good. so sometimes car was going in water.. so the problems appear after few hours when car suddenly turns it self off and turns on instantly. it was for 2 seconds and the car power steering turned off so steering was hard. This happened 3 times and after that never happened. what could be the problem?? My father took the car to mechanic and that retarded guy said "jab band hogi tab hi pata chalega kya masla hay". Bro I'm not going to take that risk my village is in mountains and power steering turned off for barely 1 sec can be fatal.
Also that mechanic said overfilling engine by 0.4 ltr isn't harmful is it true??

looks like some sensor got a little dampened due to rainy season, got dried up later on by engine heat and things got back to normal.. just get all the sensor wirings and hinges / brackets checked for any dampness or wiring damage.

0.1-0.2 ltr overfilling is okay, but i think 0.4-0.5 ltrs would be an overstretch : /

You need proper diagnosis from a professional. It could be simple as battery terminals/alternator or something big like wiring spaghetti mess.
