Car Stolen and Recovered Alhamdulillah - Need Advice

Car was Insured (leased) but the biggest Insurance is that of Allah SWT.

Mine is Automatic and I was under the impression that they they steel manual cars only

Anyway, it was not my luck but the blessings of Allah SWT, may be due to my parents' prayers that I got it back.

@chaudhary9 From where can I get these locks that you have pictured? Which one is the best for Automatic?

pindi traffic police is offering that chip card,i have seen that one in a corolla,they install the system some where inside dashboard,n u show the card otherwise car doesnt starts

as for the locks,my car is also auto,n i am using the first 2 locks as u can see in the pics
steering lock was bought from pindi n will be available in isl as well
the gear lock wasnt available here in isl,so got that from karachi,2nd n 3rd pic lock both are gear locks that you can use with auto transmission,the 3rd pic lock wasnt available so i got the second one,n i am using that 2 way remote as well which i mentioned,its quite good,has better range

Jammer jams any GPS signals so that device is useless

To run the Jammer they will have to start the car first? Isn't it? And if the car is started the wrong way then an alert will be sent to the user - if I understood that correctly.

Sale out your altis...buy a city or civic which atleast have an immobilizer...and have a peace of mind...

I actually owned Civic for 8 Years and City for 4 Years. I shifted to Corolla a few months back because of a couple of issues with Civic. Hence I need to find a solution around Corolla, as I can't sell it in the near future.

Till you have corolla, having a peace of mind for a secured car is really difficult...these days tracker, security system are nothing for thieves...
buy a swift then...it also has an immobilizer...

Allah Malik Hay. I don't take too much tension for these things. But I want to do my best at least. I leave the rest to Allah SWT. And that really gives me peace of mind. Alhamdulillah

- Is there any way to secure these cars? eDrive says they want to sell me Anti-Jammer device for Rs.4,000/= which switches on the Horn if a jamming device is used. Anyone knows if that is really useful?

you should go for it its totally worth it but it will give problem when for some reason Govt suspends mobile service

i think some bank(s) were offering change of leased car as well,if so,you can switch to some other car

IMHO, Tracker works, there was some thing gone wrong, thats why thieves left the car

I guess, these days, anti jamming devices have their own batteries, they don't depend on cigarette lighter

coming back to the point go to al sheikh traders in f10 markaz islamabad ask him to install immobilizer he has some after market immobilizer and get a steering lock from him, tell him to give u the one specially for corolla ( it can fit all cars) dont use china lock in new corolla other wise be ready for a screwed up power steering

oh i dont know about using tala under steering in new shape corolla but have been using it in old shape without any problems

There is no such thing as an anti jamming device. Tell the tracker company to install it in your car and I'll pay for that if it anti jams my simple jammer commonly used in defense and banks and is easily available.
These companies make fool. What that so called device will do is to ask for some combination for the car to remain start and since only you know it......it will honk the alarm. Since customers don't have a gsm jammer so they keep fooling you. I screwed the **** out of at least 3 such companies of Isloo, one of RWP and one of Lahore. I just turned the jammer on after they installed the system and trust me......every single one of them left quietly.

placing a strong magnet on the roof also distorts the signals for gps... no need to start

i dont prefer,neither trust the trackers and bla bla get a solid strong lock,dont know in pak i bought mine from saudia for my alto,once somone opened my car and wires were messed up but lock was intact,may be lock secured my car its a strong one not desi/china ones
