dont buy any other car and city doesnt hav an immobilizer
coming back to the point go to al sheikh traders in f10 markaz islamabad ask him to install immobilizer he has some after market immobilizer and get a steering lock from him, tell him to give u the one specially for corolla ( it can fit all cars) dont use china lock in new corolla other wise be ready for a screwed up power steering

its an after market immobilizer by steelmate and cost should be around 2500 i guess or may be less

honestly speaking toyota needs to look into this matter and perhaps replace the quarter window (that is always broken) with a unbreakable cover from the inside for pakistan. After reading the blog it seems stealing a corolla is a piece of cake.

even 2 way remote costs 9-10k
basic remotes cost 2500rs and immobilizer also for 2.5k :o

use the tala under steering you will get used to it

Get that chip card system installed. It's not 100% safe but takes more time to by pass. Last resort to seek protection is from Allah without a doubt.

i dont prefer,neither trust the trackers and bla bla get a solid strong lock,dont know in pak i bought mine from saudia for my alto,once somone opened my car and wires were messed up but lock was intact,may be lock secured my car its a strong one not desi/china ones

One of my friends has told me that his electrician installs a Chor Switch that is connected with the Fuel Pump. The wiring is not connected to the wires under the steering and can not be detected. You will have to push the button each time you start the car.

Bro, all security systems are a piece of crap .......... Only because they are located in obvious places with open to eye and easily identifiable wires. Just remove a jack or a fuse and you're done with it. Remember.........nothing is fool proof for a person who is determined to steal your car. You have to take advantage of his weakness and that is.......... "TIME". Thiefs don't have time. Do something that wastes his time. All security systems available in the market are actually very good at what they are designed for. Its our stupid, senseless, casual and ignorant electritions who are to be blamed.
I along with my very trustworthy friend installed two systems in mine and his car at my place.......... All by ourselves............. Using proper dodging/confusing wires with proper soldering and jacks and hid the systems in places where even an expert and dedicated thief would require a lot of ample time to sort it out. He would even require to dis mentale the whole dashboard .
