Car suggestion 6.0 - 7.0 million Pkr Budget!

Assalam u alikum everyone,
to cut it short i had some spare cash lying around which i want to invest in a car, my budget is between 6 & 7 million PKR.
i had the following options on my mind:

1. A used 10th gen Civic Rs 1.5 turbo (2019 onwards model, a lot of known faults tho..)

2. A used MG HS (plenty for sale on Pakwheels with low mileage however i am skeptical about its reliability issues)

3. A used Kia Sportage FWD ( i really wanted the AWD variant but that might be out of my current budget range)

4. Any other JDM hybrid with low mileage.

Kindly share your valuable insights and suggestions.

(open to more options other than those mentioned above)

My humble recommendation would be Grande CVT 2021-22 model (highest used one listed on pakwheels right now has asking price of 7.5 million) since its an investment. Other options include Yaris 2023 model (highest price 1.5 ATIV X on pakwheels is listed with asking price of 6.0 million with around 3k running)

The options that you have mentioned are no doubt good but from strictly investment point of view I don't think any of these could trump the Toyotas. The closest would be in my guess the RS Turbo followed by the Sportage and then the MG.

Thanks for the brief suggestion.
The decision will be mine and my brothers combined. I really want to get the Grande, like you mentioned, since it's the best thing to keep your money locked up, but my brother is more inclined towards the Rs. I will see if I can get him to change his mind and go for Grande.
The Yaris is a no-no for me, sadly. I can't convince myself to spend 6 million plus on that car.

Grande is boring, RS is the way to go hands down, the smile on your face every time you floor is worth all the money.
sportage only if you have to travel to areas where the roads are not good, civic is only a city driven, i have a civic x for city usage & sportage for long hauls & rough roads.

A pretty common expression for a high-torque turbo engine, it is in fact very addicting and puts a huge smile on your face. Having driven the RS numerous times, I would agree wholeheartedly with you that it is indeed a treat to own and drive.
But don't you think that the issues with the 10th-gen Civic RS are just too many? starting from apparent steering rack failure to AC evaporator coils and fuel pumps going bad. What's your take on that?

i own a civic x 1.8 2017, till date i faced nothing.
from day 1 it is maintained by honda, never taken it anywhere else.
i regret not getting a rs but overall you know the internet exaggerates a lot.

I have rs turbo 2020 never went to a workshop even once for any issue. What are the a lot of known faults? Just curious or I think you meant about the previous version of it which was not the RS?

Steering rack, and AC evaporator coil, to mention the major ones.

I went to see two turbo Rs for sale on PW (2019 and 2020), both of which had their steering racks changed.
My friend has a 2020 Rs, and the AC evaporator coil changed, just 50k driven

This is strange, fortunately I have not faced these issues and I thought they were there in the non RS version.

The situation is better in late 2021 models.
But yes, almost all the civics, whether RS or non-RS, have both these issues.
current cost of a new Steering rack replacement part is charged at 180k from honda 3s.

Mtlb in real it costs around 100k and the 80k are extra from getting it done from Honda lol,

Nonetheless it's one huge dent.

certaily. However, i would never trust a kabli, used or aftermarket part which will be placed in one of the major components of the car like the steering mechanism in this case. It's always a good idea to stick to genuine parts in this case, no matter how expensive they are.

Even current shape has steering rack issue as discussed in 11th gen civic thread many times.

Yes i have read a few of these. Truly shocking how they have failed to address a manufacturing fault to the responsible stakeholder.
