It works... Finally!

Checked again today, this time successfully paid. UBL internet banking doesn't support 1Bill but their ATMs do. After generating PSID, went to a nearby UBL ATM and paid without an issue.

Many banks support 1Bill payments via their internet banking portals and apps, here's list of banks supported for online payment of vehicle's token tax:

Yup its working now.

Made An account on http://taxportal.excise.gos.pk.
Added vehicle.

Under Tax Calculation Tab, added details it made a 12 digit Code.

Opened up my Meezan bank, Under bill payments search for (1 bill invoices) and insert your 12 Digit code.
The click pay. And its done.

Download the Receipt from the http://taxportal.excise.gos.pk/ website and keep a printed copy in your car.

I have last paid my tax till june 19 now when i am calculating my tax on excise portal is is showing arrears of 3000 in tax and 3250 in w.tax and total tax including current tax is showing Rs 9850. Why is it ahowing arrears ao high

I have successfully paid the token tax till June 2022 by using the Sindh Govt Mobile App. Paid chalan can be easily downloaded again and again if you loose it somehow. Very easy to use. You must have online banking apps which will be helpful in this case.

sticker is no longer mandatory if you are paying online. Keep the printed receipt in vehicle.

Anyone tried paying car tax online recently.
Today it Seems that the PSID thing is not working. Received mssg on my mobile but internet banking, atm and even over the counter bank gives PSID error.

Yes, I did pay car tax online today by using https://taxportal.excise.gos.pk/home/quick_pay.
After generating PSID there are options for payment.
1. ATM
2. NET BANKING
3. BRANCHLESS BANKING
4. OTC

Select the one you wish to pay. You will get the PSID via SMS on your mobile number use this one,
it will fetch your car details including the amount.
I did face a PSID error when I used portal-generated PSID. When I tried SMS PSID it fetches the details and it paid successfully.
I've got the SMS with link which contains challan pdf

Goto Dashboard.
Then Scroll down to Tax Payment History

Click the PDF file under attachment to view and download the challan.

Hi all,

I have a Sindh registered vehicle and I'm trying to pay tax on it for the very first time online via the portal.

While trying to add my car via the add vehicle option, it says my car is not registered (incorrect, it recognises my vehicle when verifying it online separately).

Any suggestions on what I should do here? Thank you.

1st time tax payment of registered cars require (once) manual tax payment. So that the vehicle registration BOOK Number is entered into the system. Usually when agents are involved for registration Book numbers are not entered into the system.

pay tax manually at National Bank with excise desk check receipt it will have the Book number,
onwards you can pay tax electronically.

It happened to me in 2016.
