Car Token Dedicated Thread (Process, Tax Amount, Registration, Smart Card, Online Tax)

Alright Pakwheelers.
July is here and its time to pay the car token/tax money.
please provide the following information just for the sake of comparison/convenience of others.

1) Car Model make
2) Engine CC
3) City of registration
3) Token amount paid

(take copy of NTN summary print out from FBR website along with ID card copy/car should be on NTN payer name to be eligible for lesser amount.if you have filed your tax returns take a copy of that from FBR website, few post offices accept sms verification msg if your cnic is in ATL)

If your car registration is 10 years old/older then 1st of July of running year. WHT / Income Tax would be 0
Please note if your car is 10 yr or plus old registered you can go and pay same amount in August (no need to rush and pay in July)

Pay token in registration relevant province only.Punjab/sindh/Balochistan/Federal

Important Notice for Isb registered cars

1. Annual Motor vehicle tax / Token tax payment date of Islamabad registered vehicles is extended to 30-09-2016 (fine / penalty will not impose before extended payment date).
2. Smart card holder vehicles will pay their annual token tax on following designated points:
3. All Private vehicles (without smart card) will pay their annual token tax in their relevant Post offices in Islamabad.
4. All private vehicles, which are paying their annual token tax in Excise & Taxation Department (E&TD), Sector H-9, Islamabad are directed to collect their token tax certificate from E&TD for the purpose of Post office registration.
5. All Commercial and Government vehicles will pay their annual token tax in E&TD, Sector H-9, Islamabad.

Islamabad token rates 2019 - 20

Life time token implemented - Take NOC from existing registered post office and then go to ETO office
for car registered on 2010 and beyond and 1000cc and below - token tax is 10,000
as per people who paid taxes so far, already paid tokens are not being adjusted !

Can anybody share token rate for City 2001 for Lahore.

@Robin. It is 1299 so does not fall in second category. That is why just 384 rs tax for such a big beast! BTW Islamabad is the cheapest than most of Pakistani cities. And have heard that token tax is even cheaper in Gilgit, Chitral, AJK, Baluchistan.

It is only Sindh and Punjab governments which charge high token fees.

I had Datsun 120 1974 model 1200 CC Rawalpindi registered and its toke fee was 1500-1600 way back in 1999.
