people i am in big trouble...ive lost my tokens and ive been searching them for last 3 years:)...now i think i should settle it down i have swift88 with G13(swapped with G10)...what should i do...should i tell the authorities abt swap or not...and plzzz guide the procedure of getting it done(the token)...plz help

@stonedsaint. Well City is on paper is 1300 so higher tax. Gli/Xli token is 2098 rs

Infinity Hmm get the token for now.

Go to ETO office with latrst receipt from the place you purchased engine from.

Get that changed on your book after the tokens are paid.

From next year pay the g13 tokens

You are right, Thats the reason !

I have just confirmed from ETO that my car's file having Invoice of 1300cc thats y it having more tax then gli / xli etc
My other car gli having 1299cc over invoice, in fact all rides have some exact cc mentioned on invoice same as mentioned on engine & chasis number plate in engine bay which is then given to ETO so they allot the tax slot.
I wonder Y honda did that !
Is it my individual issue of wrong cc or everybody else having the same wrong cc on invoices and paying extra invalid tax !

I have city 2007 and 1300 cc is written on it exact. Is there a way i can get it changed to say 1295 cc on the book ?. Actually the car is prob. 1246 cc and those bastar... have written 1330 cc.

i will take my ride to ETO in few days to get it examined physically there and let them see the cc written on plates, so that they make a correction ! similar way u could take urz to lahore eto !
I will sure update here after an attempt, i dont know whether they will entertain or not as on invoice is 1300 and on engine chassis plate is 1246 cc.

I wonder why this fuss created by Honda and nobody bothers about extra tax money they pay every year !

isnt it plain stupid, city IDSI 1246cc is registered as 1300cc on papers and xli's as 1299cc :S
i dont think there is any solution to it. maybe when they first launched IDSI,owners could have complained to honda PK to write corrrect cc on papers when they sell!

infinity, u lost car tokens or the whole book :S ? nothing to worry about, post office keeps manual record of all token recieved.

he charged u for short paid token amounts for 07,08 + usual 1490 fee
u need to confirm did what were the token rates in 07-08 for alto in punjab to verify his working
