Last year token paid with late fine, i dont remember the exact amount but it was more than double of the actual, somewhere around 1500 or 1750 or 2000 when I said WTF????

isb comes in fedral and has cheaper tokens compared to other cities. heard swat and such area have low value tokens to.......

I bought the car last year so paid it's tax 1st time.2ndly,the tax depands on the CC's written on the car documents,Mine says 1300cc so it falls in the 1300-1600cc category.I think toyota and suzuki doesn't round-up(math function) the CC's while honda does.

I. Tax is income tax. Why are they charging income tax on a used car? I'm not making money from the car.
P. Tax is most probably property tax. The guy at the post office told me but I forgot.

Almost 90% of the people had to go back to fetch more money to pay the token/tax. Only the guy issuing token has the table of new tax rules. Nothing was displayed and everybody was wondering how much he'd have to pay. One person having a 1300cc car with last years arrears has to pay Rs. 10,900.00.

The most Strange thing is, it's for mehran but not for Santro. It really looks odd if you pay 540 for your santro and 1490 for your mehran. (both cars are 4+ years old)

The fee was RS 540, provincial Tax Rs 200 and Income Tax Rs 750.
The post master was saying that these taxes are according to the new notification which came on 15th July 2008. Money would be recovered next year from those people who paid the tokken before 15th July. Government is uncertain about every thing.

and i belive if the same jeep is out of isb , it would be like 11000 something ....
