Car Transfer Issue

Assalamu Alaikum. I hope you all are doing well. I sold my car three months ago. We completed the paperwork on a stamp paper. I have a copy of the stamp paper and a photocopy of the buyer's CNIC. However, I want him to transfer the car to his name, but he keeps delaying and making excuses. I want your advice on what I should do because I want the car to be transferred to his name so I’m free of any future complications. The car is Punjab registered.

Did you sell it directly.?
If some showroom is involved then engage through them.

Tell him that you are going to file complaint in excise so that his file is blocked .

I sell them directly. Can you please let me know the process for how I can complain to block the car, because the buyer is not responding?

Go to excise office. Give written application along with selling proof stating the facts. They will block the car .

But first send message and give sometime. Usually, it gets transferred after sometime

I’ve done everything I could from my side — I’ve been messaging them almost daily. Sometimes they reply, sometimes they don’t. When they do respond, they either say they don’t have the money, or they say they’ll do it tomorrow, or give some other day. Before starting the official process, I’ll try to contact them one more time. But if they keep making excuses, then I’ll go ahead with the process. I’m willing to cooperate, but they are the ones creating problems.

What will happen later after blocking then
i mean are we as seller out of this car or they might need again ?

if you have complete proof of sale in record. You may proceed with reporting to registartion office with a copy to current owners'. keep all paper in file for your own safety, legal cover.
