So I have purchased a 1988 landrover defender from sardar brothers in islamabad which was registered in chitral I am trying to registered the car to my name now but I have been waiting for 8 months now and no paper work has been done i have copies off the original green book and have the e stamp to say original owner has agreed transfer I am being told my paper work is in chitral office has anyone in here got any contacts in chitral car taxation office or can point me in the right direction thanks

Who drives proper registered cars in Chitral ?

Jokes apart, I guess you should contact with the seller. Since they are from Chitral so they may have links.

But as far as I know all the vehicle related information can also be obtain by calling Peshawar excise office.

Did you check the registration number on website
of excise KPK ?

Update on this issue so I finally got the car onto my name but hasn't updated online yet how long does that take ans also I'm not from chitral so is it possible to get the car registered to a closer city to myself?

no u cant shift or move registration
and i highly doubt your name will be updated online.can u pay chitral token online?if not they are still on conventional manual system

Chitral is the district of KPK. And KPK records are digital now.
Can you see details of your vehicle on website of Peshawar excise when you add its registration number there ?
If you live near to close to Peshawar, then visit the excise office to confirm this ownership details.

And as hash4u says, you cannot move or shift the car registration from one district/city to another.

Yeah I can see my details online but they are still on the previous owners name
