Car tuning advice needed!

Assalamo a laikum. I have a carburetor cultus 2000 model... well maintained. .. regular oil changes and engine is fine... its been a while i dint get a tune up... when i went for one... i was about to buy new plugs.... i usually gettl the regular denso plugs when a change.is required. .. but the enercon guy said he has bosch plugs.... plus i was also thinking of getting a bit better plugs... some high performance stuff... the car is usually run on cng and i usually dnt take on ferrari's on an empty road. .

My question is that can the bosch plus or any high performance plugs damage the engine in any way? Obviously the car is 15 years old and 5he engine piston rings have done a good job till not... but i dont want the plugs to damage something. ... can they?

Like a bigger spark.... and 2 months main ring piston he farigh ho jaieen..

I came back saying ill get the tune up after getting some advice. Shud i get bosch plugs or high performance plugs... or shud i just stick to normal denso or ngk..

Another question. .. in thr category of 'normal' plugs... which one is better.... denso or ngk..

bosch are 4tip plugs ..atleast mechanic threw them out for my cng liana saying it will not work well for it. so i guess dont go for them. use same original plugs for cultus carby. it will be best for many reasons.

i dont think plugs have anything to do with ring/pistons. its all about spark and thats all.

Yes but if ur plugs r producing a bigger spark... and ur engine is old... ring pistons seals... all old.... i think it will do some damage....just like hi octane is not recommended for old cars... correct me if im wrong

these plugs are for new cars, not meant for your car, it will actually decrease the performance of your vehicle. best to stick with denso or ngk

Used are equally good, i used to use either one, based on availability.

both are equally respected.. but go for whatever is written in cultus manual...NGK BKR6E is recommended for my Liana

@obsolete just use the stock recommended plugs; a 'bigger spark' won't increase the engine's horsepower. NGK BP6ES or Denso W20EP-U are the recommended plugs.

Im not at all . looking for an increase in performance. .... u dnt get no performance from cng... i was.looking for better milage. ... a bigger spark wud mean less unburnt fuel.... and i cud cut down on inflown of cng or petrol? No?

i again say - get denso or ngk.

bosch are NOT recommended for you atleast

I already got denso.... but the enercon guy is selling/using bosch for all cars... something is going under the hood. .. either n hes making profit from them or they r definitely giving better performance. ... in terms of milage... or something

i used them for 3 months and on next tuneup my mechanic threw them. all four lying with me almost new. i also saw packets of bosch plugs at so many auto part shops. maybe someone imported a lot and flooded in market.. even if 5% of car owners use them or give it a try, it will be a big figure.

Don't know why your mechanic threw them away borsh 4 tip or denso k20tru11 (twin tip) are personally my first choice for car running waste sprak
