I've been facing vibration on my mira 2008 when on P and when pressing the break while on D.I've seen that the engine is shaking aswell when i pulled the bonut.There is no oil leakage and no water/coolant leakage, all is good from there.Please let me know what should be the solution for this, will be highly appreciated.
Check your engine mounts
Figure out if it is just a vibration or a misfire
There's no miss fire and sometimes the car's is slipping the gear aswell to downgear out of no where.
Has the gearbox ever been serviced? Fluid changed?
You may have a transmission issue if it's slipping. Have a mechanic inspect it.
visit a workshop which can scan your JDM car, - if you have never changed the transmission oil since purchase it is time you do it. It will take CVT fluid.
scanning & CVT fluid change can be managed at any reasonable workshop, in your area.
Cvt transmission fluid changed 1000km ago. Also, I've just checked with the mechanic he said mounts are fine and he cleaned the throttle body and the vibration is under control when the car runs for 15-20 mins. He said this is normal for this car. When he tried to increase the race then engine shaking gone but he put the race back to engine shaking mode. Lol
I told him to increase the race so that engine shaking gets under control but he said then the fuel average will be down.
Also, Car temperature is hot from the inside as compared to other cars. Maybe it's because of engine is shaking so that the engine is getting heat up. But there is no oil leakage and coolant/water leakage and no abnormal crank kinda noise from the engine. Please advise.
everytime the screwed up tin box mechanics wash throttle body with any cleaner this is very obvious to happen.
ECU need about 100 km stop & go (start & engine shut down) cycle before it relearns the fuel trim and flipper (throttle body) motion.
