Car wash setup without drain availability

Salam Everyone, I'm new to Pakwheels.

I would like to setup a Car wash station at a place where there is no Drain system available. The location is in Lahore.

I would like to know, what is the possibility of throwing the used water.

I'm planning to install water recycling plant which is required by the authorities these days. But inspite of recycling, it is estimated that I'll have to dispose off about 4000 liter of non recyclable water every day.

Someone told me that I should filter the water in 3 stages and then throw the remaining water in a BORE with 4 inch Dia pipe. The bore should be at least 150 feet.

So, my question is, if I get water from one bore, wash the car and then through the remaining water (free from mud) to another bore, will this solution be feasible?

Please help me in this regard. My concern is that if I through water in the bore, ultimately, will it rise water level in bore and come out of bore or it will settle down with the water already present at 150 feet depth in the bore.

There are lots of housing societies where there is no WASA connection for drainage. I've heard that they do similar sort of thing for the drain water of the whole society. something like a kunwan or something.

Can you please suggest me what can be done in this situation. The location which I've selected is good for Car Service station, but unfortunately, no sewerage system is available for the said property.

If you are going to spray the undercarriage too then you need a way to remove all oils and heavy metals too before letting water into the ground, otherwise you can poison the water table.

Deep bore will work... ofcourse after filtration.
It called a "Drainage Soakaway Borehole". You can read about it in google.

You absolutely should not dump untreated water back into a bore. Treated water but that still contains heavy metals is still considered untreated water and it could poison as well

I've searched about Drainage Soakaway Borehole and it seems that it is doable, but I understand that the issue of untreated water remains there.

I'll look for the water treatment option now. But I'm afraid it might increase the cost of operation to the extent that it will not remain feasible for the business. I personally don't want to do anything which is unethical.

I'll highly appreciate if anyone can guide me in this regard. The water filtration plants which are installed in car wash stations these days separate mud, soap/form from water. The efficiency of these filtration systems is 70%, so I need to dump the remaining 30% water somewhere.

The problem remains there, the remaining 30% water will contain all the impurities which I don't want to dump into a bore hole untreated as it'll contaminate water.

any info regarding a relatively cheaper but effective water treatment option will be highly appreciated.

In my personal opinion as Xulfiqar highlighted above, your biggest problem will be oils (diesel which some people like to use for washing their cars) and heavy metals stuck to under body. For oil you need to install some kind of oil/water separator. Oil collected will have to be disposed off separately.
Oil is also not good for water filtration systems so it will be beneficial if you install an oil/water separator before your water filtration system.
Also in my personal experience, water wastage is one issue with the car washes but oil pollution is the bigger issue with our car wash stations. Our government is keen to enforce water recycling systems but nobody checked how these car washing stations polluting the environment by dumping so much quantity of oil into the environment.

I've worked on it and found that it will not be feasible for me to process the water before dumping it in bore.

Now, I'm looking for another solution and I need your advice in this regard.

As per my calculation, water required to wash a car is at most 200 liters. So, if I wash 50 cars per day, total water requirement will be 10,000 liters. After using recycling plant with the efficiency of 70%, there will be waste water of 30% which will be 3,000 liters.

The rough weight for 3,000 liters of water will be 3,000 Kg = 3.0 Ton

I'm thinking about buying a 150cc or 200cc loader and I'll install a tank on the loader. In the off peak time (early in the morning or late at night), one worker will fill the tank on the loader and make a ride and dump the water in the "Naala" which is about 1 Km from the site location.

If we dump 1,000 liters in every ride, total 3 rides will be required per day to dump all the waste water. For 100 car washes, 6 rides will be required.

Cost of loader is about 200,000 PKR and tank will cost about 25,000. I know this solution requires some extra money to be spent, but at the moment it seems doable for me. I can outsource this work to some third party, but my whole business will rely in emptying the reservior tanks. If the person doesn't come for any reason, my work will be stopped, so I want to keep it in house.

I need sincere advice from you guyz, what do you guyz think about this solution.
