Car Window tints permit

Hello guys, i wanted to ask about how to get a tint permit for my car. I've been given a fine a lot of times and the sergeants suggest getting a tint permit. I have no clue where to get them and i need tints as i have a skin problem. I have to drive my car to work and i need tints in the car. I have tried using shades as well but i can't drive with shades comfortably.

only Law Enforcement Institution' Vehicles & National Flag bearing vehicles / Cars have tinted glasses.

Selective Registered Civilian vehicles get permit only when vehicle ownership is of a public office holder or to an autonomous institution.

Only Home Secretary of Provincial Govt can issue such permit at his discretion, DC does not have such authority.

Up till now, all the sergeants that have stopped me told me to get a medical certificate from a high grade govt doctor for my skin condition. And then submit it for a permit, they all said it can be issued for issues like these..

For example: In Utah the window tint law is as follows:

Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed above the manufacturer’s AS-1 line. Must allow more than 70% below AS-1 line.

Front Side windows: Must allow more than 43% of light in.

Back Side windows: Any darkness can be used (basically limo tint)

Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.

Why can't we have something like this ? I personally feel it's impossible to drive without tints in Pakistan. I feel a lot more comfortable with them. Not everyone has them for dates or have something to hide. I personally don't understand some of the laws related to cars in this country.

legislators, people responsible to promulgate a law are focused and working only to recover their election expense and surplus for their generation.

law ? which law ? we are still practicing 1936 Official secrets act in Islamic republic of Pakistan in 2021. It was drafted & made law by Crown for Subcontinent, to charge, victimize and punish locals of undivided India working for crown.

Exactly my point. Not everyone is sneaking around and dating lmao, i live in Karachi and the sunlight and heat altogether cause my black car to heat up on the inside like crazy. Apart from that i have a genuine skin condition and most the times officers stopped me have confirmed that my skin was literally red and flaky due to heat. But nah fines all the time.

Agreed. No law is being made for the recent modern times.

Law won't see if your skin is red flaky or what. It needs documents/permit. Although they themselves have no solid law that how much tint is permissible and how much punishable.

You can get a car with windows tinted from the company, like JDMs, then you won't be troubled

An easier alternative is to roll down your cars window when near a traffic spot. I also have tinted windows since it is much convenient than shades.

Pakistani laws are a comedy.

Have no idea. You can ask DC office of your city for help.
