Car Won't Start After Filling CNG. Help!

Every time i fill up CNG to full car won't start. I always have to wait 5 mins after filling CNG and then it starts. My car is Accord 88 and car is not EFI neither the CNG kit.

does it crank and decline to start? next time convert to petrol drive to the cng filling station shut down on petrol fill the cng drive on petrol convert to cng - it will work

drain the oil from CNG regulator in engine bay and share the results afterwards please

It cranks fine. Petrol leaks from petrol tank's drain bolt. Rubber washer needs replacement a minor issue so ATM no petrol in tank. Have check many times runs perfectly on petrol. Drained oil from the CNG regulator few days ago. I opened the drain bolt around 100ml clean oil came out and as soon as it stopped dripping i put to bolt back in and tightened it.

The thing that i have marked using red circle. Is that a filling valve? Had it gone bad? If yes what's it's cost?

the item marked in figure is regulator solenoid it is not a valve, it is a safety regulator which cut-off supply if ignition key is turned but engine is not cranked.

Lazy bone winter is around and any day after 15th October gas rationing will be announced. Get the petrol tank fixed, a leaking petrol tank is like explosive on wheels even with ' fumes ' . be nice to yourself & to your family avoid taking chances with explosives.

Maybe it's not cutting the supply off? Because of that CNG pressures reaches engine and it goes over.

please try removing the electrical connection [ 2 lugs only ] of regulator and scrub with an old tooth brush dipped in petrol clean metal tips to shine, while the lug jacks be dry brush cleaned to remove any corrosion causing sticky cut off switch.

The thing encircled with red mark is called cng cut off valve,if the coil of this solenoid cut off valve gets weakened then engine may not start right after gas filling,get it replaced,the cost of original lendi renzo coil is around 1300 rupees.

My CNG kit needs service. CNG mechanics say there is oil in cng cut off valve and the cylinder. Though i found a simple solution to avoid this start up issue. As soon as i am about to get the CNG filled on the station i press the button and i switch it to petrol. After i get it filled i shift it to CNG and it works!
