I have stock mehran 2006 65k km having all genuine plugs denso and ngk wires using Zic A 10W-40 drain interval is 3000km with oil and air filter change. Air filter cleaning at 1500km. Although my mechanic converted my car to direct fan becuz of summers still my car is giving good mileage. I full my petrol tank then i traveled 100km 60% islamabad highway and 40% Dha islamabad and i went to refill my tank again after driving 100km and only 6.5L was used means 100km 6.5L= 15.38kmpl And car carby never serviced never done repairing on factory spares i tune her at 5k km. Engine oil is important in fuel consumption thicker oil causes high fuel consumption my cousin has 2010 mehran but she hardly give 11-11.5kmpl because he is using Caltex Havoline 20W-50. If driven with light foot at 60-70km/h this car can even give 21kmpl at long routes. I went to sargodha from islamabad on motorway and it gave 20kmpl with 80km/h speed.

and so I did another diy
a small operation clean up / tidying up the wiring on the battery side..

and as per tradition I forgot to take the before and after pictures.. this was taken during the work...

the fat *** tape you see is the self fusing silicone tape.. which I used instead of the heat shrink tubes because the thermo switch needs to be replaced.. and on the others I forgot to put the sleeve on haha

will be performing a rust cleanup operation soon.. plus someone stole my car's battery plastic case..gotta get it asap.. any suggestions on the rust treatment would be more than welcomed

which looming technique are you going to follow.

regular plastic accordion like japanese cars
fabric tape like german cars
military spec - exposed wires with super strong cable ties

p.s. forgot to add - the cheapest nitto tape loom that suzuki offers

a mix of plastic accordion and military spec

but before that I have to replace some wires.. such as the amplifier wire.. add a distribution block somewhere near the battery so that the positive terminal gets some relief.

that was achieved along with soldered headlight socket wiring and other small stuff..

things to do:
take this mess off the terminal

fit a good puller fan

remove engine and gearbox to deal with the stupid gearbox, tidy the wiring..install some more fuses and better heat insulation

get some body work done

God the things I want to do after exams...
