Hello everyone.

I hope everything's fine at your end. I am looking to make a few motorbike fairings out of carbon fiber. I asked around and no one could tell me where to find it.

BUT

One guy from a heavybike showroom in lahore told me that Carbon Fiber Cloth/Fabric is banned in pakistan and thus cannot be imported. I was wondering if it's true. And if not, can you tell me where can i find Carbon Fiber Cloth in pakistan ?? I'm from Lahore but i am willing to Travel All Over Pakistan.

CFRP is a classified material and its a control Item for Pakistan. Back in 2OO2, when I was in Pakistan, we imported a construction related CFRP plates and fabric used for external strengthening of building and other concrete structures. It took us 2 years to import. We have to get approval from the country of origin as well as Pakistan ministry of defense. I specialize in external strengthening technologies and completed hundreds of building projects with CFRP. I am not sure if it can be imported for commercial or personal use..

I don't know what are import restrictions as of now.. I know few people who sell carbon fabric STRICTLY for construction INDUSTRY use.

What grade should be used to make car fender or bonet ... What should be the price of cabin fiber cloth , length 100 meters ..

Uzair Bhai i would recommend FRP (Fiber Re-enforced Plastic) for fender and bumper. it is more durable and much more in strength and flexible than carbon. it is easy to mold and curve as compared to Carbon which is more stiff and non flexible.
