So this is the first DIY which im posting here... A relatively small and easy procedure but which i recommend to all carby people especially suzuki owners like mehran khyber and margalla etc.
What do you need for this. Just 2 things. A nut opener and Carb cleaner. Easily available. Bought it for Rs.150. This brand is the same one which ive seen my mechanic use so i trust it and its pretty good.

So starting off here is the picture of the engine bay. Dirty and kinda messy i know, sorry about that.

Now start the car and keep it on at idle for about 5 to 10 mins. After about 10 mins unscrew the 2 bolts that secure the air intake and the air filter. One is the one right in the center and the other one is attached to the engine which is this one.

Now take off the clips that hold it, disconnect the tubes attached to it and take out the cover and the air filter. Clean the airfilter i you can.

Now remove the bottom half and this is whats left. What might happen is that your car might stall so rev up the engine abit and then take the bottom half off. If you took the bottom half off and the car stalled, place the bottom half back and start the car again. Rev it up and then remove the bottom half

Now rev the engine upto a good 5000rpm and spray inside. Your spraying time can be upto 1 to 2 mins accounting there are no breaks in between till the inside looks clean. Sorry couldnt take a pictiure of it before cleaning but this is after cleaning.

When you are done with the cleaning bring the car back to the normal idle rpm and you will notice that the car will now not stall at all and runs perfectly fine even without the air intake cover. Thats a good sign that your carb is better than before. The engine sound even changes and becomes alot better. Switch off the car and replace the cover and all the nuts and bolts back. Take the car out for a test drive
So i hope this helps someone. Took only like 15 to 20 mins and the car feels much better and responsive in driving and idle rpm holds very well.
enjoyyy !!
