Civics used to be taught in schools (and this has got nothing to do with Honda )
years ago. It covered topics like crossing the road, disposing off fruit peels and candy wrappers etc. For some odd reason it was discontinued. Now all the children see is their parents chucking out banana peels from the window of their car or ...well all sorts of un-civic actions and copy them. Not their fault..they have never been told / taught otherwise.
As for the basic hygiene, yes we have a warm environment and body odours can be an issue but if people would only follow the teachings of islam they would probably be better off...
