Hey there ahad. It's good to know that I was able to enlighten you about the cars that can be found in my country. Street racing does take place sometimes mostly at nights.

I will visit Lahore and Karachi some day inshallah and now I have a better chance to do so since one of my brother-in-law is from Pakistan and I do have some friends from Lahore.

I plan to visit Bombay along the way as well. I have to see the Murcielago Roadster and the Gallardo on desi soil!

Thanks for the websites addresses. I have seen the skyline pic in Lahore. It's an R33, I believe. Amazing car.

Really good to see another Muslim country with a progressive population that is just an auto enthusiast at heart as Pakistanis. It will be really good to see Bangladesh developing its own Automobile industry soon, another Muslim country will manufacturing its own vehicles will be a great pride for all the Muslims. Really like the recent Bangladesh Cricket team's recent victory against Australia in England. We need to put Australia in its place, they have ruled the Cricket world for too long, its time for them to go, we want desis to be on the top of the Cricket World as we had been for a while...

Hey Mehran. For cars registered in Dhaka....the license plates starts with "Dhaka Merto" followed by alphabet and numeral combos. For cars registered in Chittagong....the license plates start with "Chotto Metro" followed my alphaber and numeral combos.

pasban22: nope, no local assembled cars. prev gen Toyota Landcruisers were among the last one to be assembled here. thanks for asking.

BHAILOGE: we have more cars than these. SL65 AMG, Rolls Royce Silver Seraph, 3 Cayenne Turbos, 2 Cayenne Ss arrived in the last 2 weeks.

GTR was not offending anyone. Why should we offend another Muslim Brother from another Muslim Country. We got enough of our own problems in Pakistan to sort out, the shameful riots between Sunnis and Shias, Muhajirs and Non Muhajir, its so pathetic, no wonder why we lost half of our country due to same intolerant thinking. We should be more tolerant and accepting of diversity.

Yes there are Indian cars here (Maruti, Tata, etc). My mom has a Fiat Sienna (made in India).

PAK is on top of bangladesh....there are ferrari f40 n f50(original!....no replicas)....2 (2003-4)ferrari 360s....porsche showroom wid all of its range of cars(carrera s,cayman s,cayenne s or turbo,boxster s)....2-3 rolls-royce phantoms....merc n bmw new models...mayb an SLR(its rumour)....tons of lx-470s,prados,accords,markIIs,rx-8s,rx-7s,350zs,s2000s,ev0s,imprezzas,supras,n now a skyline gt-r(tuned wid 550HP)!!!!

thnx "crazy425".....i got some more additions....there is a BMW m5 that just arrived a month ago....new 2007 s-classes(s350,s500 n s600!)are coming to pak this March!....there are a lot of vintage cars aswell....n some old rolls-royces aswell!....there is a Bentley GT coupe in lahore or isl.... n range rovers!
