You are wise to react this way and stopped buying online. I know some people who spend (and waste) thousands of rupees before learning this lesson. When it comes to business online, there are simply no work ethics and courtesies involved. They are all after making quick buck and nothing else matters in the line of "duty".

Dear PWs

I had made a rule to not to pay in advance. I had a bad experience with DARAZ when i paid them using credit card an amount of 10,500/- and after 20 days of payment and order confirmation, they just cancel my order due to ITEM OUT OF STOCK. After passage of one month of payment, still waiting for refund of the money.

Otherwise, whenever i used COD, i recieved the purchased things within couple of days and had average experience. Now i only go for BRANDED things to be purchase from AUTHENTIC stores like daraz.

Worst experience of mine is going to be iShopping. I ordered chrome cast 2 by reading your comment here, they care for their customers. They actually don't even know what customer care means. Its been two days of my order and its still in pending state. They are saying we haven't received your payment yet. What I just did is, paid from my card before receiving my order. They got my money and now they damn care about CUSTOMER. If you still want to go for them and needs your product on time, never pay before(May be they care for you). Its 25th Ramadan and now after 2 days of continues calling, they are saying you may receive your order after Eid. Hell of you, I needed it for Ramadan programs.
Simply stated "worst experience" cuz don't know long I have to suffer more.

I ordered a gaming keyboard from shophive and confirmed order on phone. Arrangement was that I would go to Gulberg and pick it up myself from their office and pay them. On designated day I went there to find that today there office is closed and they are on leave (I think govt announced some local holiday without prior notification). Though office was not fully closed and some people were moving stuff from their warehouse to that office.
I came back pissed and sent them an email about this, I got a reply and simply that our office was closed on that day. No apology not they told me about the new date of pickup. It was like, our office is closed, bhaar main jao :). To this I replied and this time my email was sort of sarcastic (though i did nothing to offend them). After that they simply cancelled my order and when I tried to place it again i could not. I had to ask my brother to place same order by his name and on a different address as the item was not available in hafeez center. I would say pathetic customer service.

There is business online to make money, not to adhere to work ethics. Ethics has no place in Albakistan.

This site has hardly 100 items on sale. No variety and being unknown you never know their return policy and stuff. So avoid it.

Well...i frequently order things from online sites from very expensive mobiles phones to few hundred things...and so far my experience says,

1- Never ever pay advance, only opt for COD (though i pay advance for my parrot food on birdsplanet.pk and their response and delivery is very fast...always receive the correct product..satisfied with them)
2- Try to order from the sites who deliver things through their own representative not through any courier service...homeshopping and 24hours.pk do that...benefit is that you can check your order before paying its price.
3- Do not try to purchase wearing things like clothes and shoes....you will hardly find good quality..all shown at the website are fake.

This site is offering honor 4c just for 8500 i asked them they said its genuine mobile . Just curious how they are offering this price for this phone

They say its genuine but do we have reasons to believe that they are not lying. There must be a catch.

I asked to check before paying they said if you are in karachi than you can check before paying but in other cities its tcs's policy you can't check before paying
