Catalyst converter for CNG vehicles?

my friend told me that before conversion of pertol version car (cultus) to CNG it is necessary to first remove the catalyst converter as it tends to choak the exhayust system i want to confirm weather its true or not before i convert my vehicle on CNG.

please send your seggestions at earliest

I don't think there is a catalytic converter in locally manufactured cars.

If you instal (LC-01) Lambda control system from landirenzo then there is no need to dissconnect catalyst convertor

Catalytic converters are expensive and here we can't give coloured side mirrors, how on earth can we give catalytic converters??? :S

thers no catalytic convertor in the local cultus...only local cars that have it are the new shape corolla, new shape civic and the latest city.

thers no need to remove any catalytic convertor (if it has one) if u plan to run any car on cng...why? because there are no lead emissions going into the exhaust system when u are operating on CNG...lead emissions choke the exhaust system (which houses the catalytic convertor)n lead emissions only come when running on petrol.

by the way thers no relationship of lambda control system with the catalytic covertor if ther is then someone shud explain because lambda just opens the amount of gas that is required at a specific throttle press which means greater pick....so how does that relate to the catalytic convertor which is just a mesh(jaali) in the exhaust system.

LC01 not work with TPS movemints its receved signals from lambda sensor (fitted in exhaust). if fuel is rich then its close the sttaper motor & if fuel leian then open sttaper motor.
catalyst converter will burnde when your fuel mixer is to rich all the time so have to take out (catalyst converter)with conventional cng(fixed power T)system which cant change the fuel.
