My Vitz 2007's Catalytic converter had been removed. Will fuel Economy be improved by installing Catalytic Converter?

Is your check engine light illuminated all time? I mean if Catalyst is removed than you should have CEL ON all the time.
Not at all, Check engine light is off. Catalytic converter is not available in it but there is metal chip in it
