Catalytic converter mechanic. Need to get it clean

Aoa. Dosto, I have Honda City 2013, saal Pehle fuel average 15+ de rahi thi. Then starting to getting down. Mane tunning karwa li. Lekin average main faraq nae para.
Ab search ki hai to issue lagta hai catalytic converter ka.
Issues are:
Engine ka sound ziada ho Gaya hai.
Fuel average bhi is waqt 12 hai.
Pick bhi maze ki nahe.
AC main engine performance down mazeed down ho jati hy.
Please, acha mechanic btayen. Jo yeh issue solve kre. No Honda 3S/2S please.

Cat converter doesnt plug up in normal drive, unless you actually poison it with stuff like silicones or glycols or raw fuel and oil.

The converter operates at extreme high temperatures hence its self cleaning. Places offering cleanup service with water vapour are simply selling you a drama.

It you dont believe me then simply ask them to connect a compound gauge in place of the upstream oxygen sensor and compare before and after.

I also am skeptical about these cat cleaning services although I have once got mine cleaned through them.

I think synthetic vinegar is a mild cleaner. At least it's better than washroom sweep. Or we just leave this cat alone altogether?

These catalytic cleaner shops are proper snake-oil salesmen.
I know a guy who somehow equated 'choked' cat with extra engine 'pressure' and engine life drastically reduced.
Since most new cars don't require much maintenance, mechanics just try to add pointless things to open up in the name of up-keep to milk out revenue they don't get anymore from older cars that required tune-ups and lubricated parts decades ago. eg: throttle body ghussal and catalytic cleaner dhulai.

Motorclean guys had an account here on pw too, I asked them to provide a repeatable scientific exercise that they are actually cleaning something.

Their comeback was that “customer check pickup only” and thats enough evidence.

While every vehicle manufacturer has the same testing procedure for a blocked cat (pressure test with compound gauge) This test is alien to those guys.
