thank you very very much abbasi sab with your and xulfiqar suggestions am almost near to my completion .i will try to start as it is not installing in bike. today i have to puchase few O rings for oil filter cover . and few screws . i don't have its contact breaker points i have already requested to 1 memember vickytulla to find me from lahore lets hope for the best (y) and once again thank you very much every of this forum member

It was totally my pleasure. At the risk of sounding annoying, I noticed that you have left a huge amount of extra gasket material inside the various spaces. This is not desirable because as time passes there is a very good chance of a piece may break off and get entangled in the moving parts. Gaskets are always limited in size to be as wide as the sealing surfaces they are supposed to seal. Anyway since I did not see the gaskets that came out when you dismantled the engine so I am not is a commanding position say anything in the particular case of this CB350 engine.

I hope the contact breaker points come soon so you can start the engine. However in the mean time the old points could be used to make sure all is well with your job.

I have done a bit of photo shop to explain what I am saying.

Side gasket is OK as it is close to the original shape.

However the following two are the ones I am talking about:

In this gasket, you can see that the original has more open spaces compared to the local gasket. But as this one is deep inside making it too much work to get it out, fix and put back so you could leave it in and pray it doesn't cause problems

The one I am worried about is the one below which you can still easily fix as it is right at the top of the engine. Nice the shape of your gasket is very different from the original I think but I am not sure the two I have shown below are for the same location. If they are for the same location, you can easily see where there is the excess material.

nice going - get a very very good set of very sharp chisels and cut the gasket as required in the original shape.

btw - The entire job is good but why did you cheap out on the original garbage quality philips head screws? they are the worst choice for any engine casing. Proper bikes have allen (socket) head screws holding the cases together, they are very strong, look fantastic and can be torqued down properly.

thank you for liking . philips head screws will be change later when i may be able to ride her till shop and change them there i was facing sizes issues. i do have philips impact screw driver to lock them properly

green goes uper the yellow

yellow is stiff i think 15 gauge sheet and responsible to distribute oil

Ok I got it. Thanks. Just wanted to make sure you didn't have issues later but it looks like you have got thing perfectly right.

That is bad news. Can it be locally fabricated using steel sheet? or is it made from some special material - plastic, fibre, bakelite?

You tried with a good attempt but as you said, it is not acceptable. The only thing that will work is the proper part. What about looking for some other idea in case you are not able to find the correct CB points for your 350? Earlier there was some talk with another PW member about going for electronic ignition. Any chance for that? If can bring yourself to pay the huge amount (more than $200) it will end this headache for ever: http://www.cb450ignition.com/Index350.htm

i have given it for repair he said this can be made new with dhallai . kal sham tak ka time dia hay

I am very impressed by your engineering skills. In the web site, they said that the mechanical advance is cancelled as this is incorporated in the circuit. But I think your friend will make just a plain circuit based on a proximity switch so you will be using the centrifugal advance mechanism. If that is the case, proximity switch do fail over time due to their contacts getting worn out. If somehow and induction principle can be used with no moving parts in the circuit, that will be good.

After the dhalai (casting) is done, I suppose you will have to take it to the lath shop for machining. Hope all goes well at the lath shop. I am very surprised at the starter breaking like that. That is very strange.
