when ever i look at bike i personally unable to satisfy my self seriously its still not as per my expectations. i restored once gto 125 under my supervision and it wasn't diy but i have both of them experience now restoring is easy but implementing a vision you rewarded appreciation from other peoples this is somthing els . my friends who personally looked at the bike before and after they just dont believe how this could become this way
when i was rebuilding engine my restoration was stuck due to genuine part availability like indicator side cover air filter etc and many more thing were missing in my bike
after completing engine i change my plan to customize it in cafe racer i started building parts suiting for cafe racer modes and only i know how hard these foot peg to be build handle bars switches for proper riding demands open it, mode it re open it mode it
anyhow exhaust and tire (rear shocks may be) after that if it suits my vision i will let it as it is but if not i will bring it to my vision . i noted many suggestions through my dearest pw members . if i start working again it would tak months.it was really first time rebuilding engine body modifications and bring it 50% out of 100

lets come to the gastank
was hanging outside of shop eating water dust everyday this is ximco 125 chainess made gastank and i bought it for 500 and owner said it wont look good as you have 350 and it made for 125 i said letme check first and than i showed the pic whom i bought the tank from and he was like it really suits more on your bike but trust me it still need work but later

I certainly am not as talented as you are but I really want to have your persistence. I have an abandoned project sitting in the garage for over an year now...... I have my excuses but the reality is.....Im lazy. But project like yours really do give ppl like me a push to do something about it.

I think the builder knows more about the imperfections in the bike than anyone else and is never satisfied with what he has......... but if you look from the point of view of a third person...... ppl aint praising you for nothing..... you've got something here which appeals to a lot.

Yaser Sb. it is well known that we have limited suppliers for parts and many times we have to make do with what we have. Many times it is easy for others to provide suggestion (though welcome) are hard to implement with the limited facilities and parts available to us. What you have accomplished here is nothing short of astounding. To create something entirely different an get it right as you have is a miracle of modern times. Restoring a modern bike like your GTO 125 and creating an entirely unique bike like the cafe racer cannot be compared. These two are not even on the same planet. So if a little is not perfect here or there is not to be worried about. As time goes on you will from time to time do improvements. At this time the attention should be to get it more or less like a cafe racer and get it running.

a very less peoples knows about classic cafe racer and you amazed me because you are car lover you must be googling for related to your work and when ever i get your reply in my thread they are always just remarkable like i my self do think how he is suggesting towards paint job classic strip style foot peg etcyou were always ahead. if this build really work out i will visit Islamabad inshAllah

last night i connect its original exhaust without them the sound was very loud and suddenly i kinda like the bike it was almost completing cafe racer look so i will be getting hurry installing exhaust and have to take it to the ground let see what happen

You are right about my googling cafe racers and learning more about them.

Since you have decided to try out the original pipes, let me know if you still want that exhaust wrap. If one could find the same bandage in carbon fibre material (not the sticker stuff but the real deal), it would look just deadly!! Have you worked out how to get the bike down stairs?

am still searching for that bandage if its not available here i will request you for arrangement. the exhaust plan is attaching pics.

The bandage that i think you are referring to is an insulation wrap. Should be easily available at any shop which keeps performance parts for cars.

Yaser Sb. The exhaust will be a bit tricky because as you have already said, due to the relocated foot pegs and the associated linkage. Certainly the exhaust will have to go below the foot pegs and yet not reduce the ground clearance of the bike. You don't want to scrape the exhaust when you are taking high speed bends with the bike leaning over on the exhaust side. I think you have got it pretty close to correct in the picture above. Final setting will have to be done with the bike at the silencer walla.

If this 2 into 1 exhaust is a snug fit with not much clearance with the frame then you will be the first to pull off a properly built custom exhaust on a motorcycle. For me that wud be the highlight of the motorcycle.

i started it using push start button than i drove it with heavy loud sound and everyone was just watching it and girls you know (H) jawani yad agai mujhay apni :P.
abbasi sab what ever you said this is 100% tricky i went to silancer walla and showed him this image and he was like difficult work not possable for us those replies were just make me khair today am going again to find someone who could do this work for me and i have no choice
