Bought 3-4 Blackberry's from them back in the day of Blackberrys (:p). Worked fine here but on a trip to London they didn't work because they were blacklisted Vodafone devices.

Bro if you've little knowledge of rooting and custom recovery it's peanuts else you can get it done from some software guy for less than 500. At the moment I'm using custom rom based on G3 ui. Very fast and battety friendly rom. Actually unlike other devices F160 has very less support on xda since it doesn't have any international version, you have to dig things from vietnamese website. Check screen shots of my phone. Good thing about this rom is floqting notifications during any app.

They sell devices based on local usage. Blackberry have often had carrier problems. You should have consulted them first about usability of them internationally priot to purchasing. Blame does not come to the retailer.

But they charged 'Factory Unlocked' prices. If they sell me a locked phone it should be cheap. It could be that they've improved now and corrected their ways but for me, their first transaction was their last transaction.

If they claimed it to be "Factory Unlock" and you bought it and still it did not operate internationally, you could have taken it up to them. Given they claimed it, fault is at their end, but could only be realized once you have gone back and informed them of such incident.

Once anyone undergoes such an incident/deal, they must ensure to give feedback to opposite party. Be the opposite party a retailer or a normal person selling anything on an online forum.

Did so. They replaced the phone, tried with 2 other devices they had at that time and both were 'smuggled' as well.
These were just my experiences, got loads of relatives with same problems.

You are right.

I9500 (octa core) has two quad cores actually ( A & B ), A 1.2 Ghz and B 1.6 Ghz. But both A and B does not work simultaneously.

I9505 has 1.9 Ghz quad core, but still I9500 score better, but not too much better.
