In my previous posts, i recommended du battery saver to check battery drain issues. But i found something that its so called aurora engine (advanced saving in pro version) that closes 'background apps' is of no use and it actually increases battery consumption by frequent closing and restarting apps on non rooted phones.

Its just an ordinary task killer, which should be avoided. Task killers and ram cleaners/optimizers are of no use.

So, the only best battery saving app far remains greenify (root) and best optimizer remains cleanmaster.

The problem was I guess with my usage pattern. However for the past few days I am easily getting a day out of my G3's battery. I hope it stays the same for long.

Clean one is available for around 25 in Gujranwala. Actually it is short in the market now i could hardly find one. Very nice and feature rich phone at very low price.

After using G Pro 2 for 2 days here's my brief review about device
Pros:
1. Crisp and bright display. Feels like a real treat to eyes.
2. Very good camera result in bright/low light.
3. Despite being powered by 3200 mah battery and 5.9 inch screen phone feels amazingly light.
4. Very solid and nice looks. Feels like a flaghship device.
5. Lollipop update is running smooth.
6. 3GB of ram never feels insufficient. 1.5 Gigs always availaible.
7. Good battery timings. I am getting around 14_16 hours on 3G and wifi with 5 hours of screen timings.

Cons:
1. Charging is bit slow on 5.0 may be fast charge is missing in update.
2. You need sometime to get accoustemed with the screen size.
3. Diificult to use with one hand. One handed operation is included in the settings.
4. Poor wifi connections are avoided automatically and you can't do anything for this , unlike my previous devices where you can choose to avoid poor connections.

Overall it's a value for money device.

CPU-Z is also showing total ram 890 mb . I checked a galaxy grand single sim and it was showing 1300 mb of total ram.

I'm having the same problem!
Bought 2 galaxy grand's from Medina(original), one is showing around 1300mb ram and it's on kitkat and the other is showing around 890mb same as yours but it's on 4.3
And when I try to update it's software it says your phone is already on latest software!
What should I do?

And actually it's original, after searching on the net I found out that you get more ram on Grand 2 after you update it to kitkat but my phone isn't updating! :S

Once i figured out 1 GB ram i searched net and found no grand 2 is with 1 gb ram
