Will it work on our Base band? Have you tried it? I mean if it's installed on Pakistani versions, are there any chances of losing signals

Yeah, no worries about baseband. Pakistan has firmware G530HXC pda/baseband, so has Russia. XC is region code. XC, XX, XE, ZT, DV etc pda/baseband are all tested by me.

Csc difference usually cause some bloat at most, which can be removed when without root.

I have tried even worse with my phone and they never caused any signals issue, except for one Indian rom with INS or INU code in which i didn't receive messages. I am now on ZT region firmware on my phone with LTE option factory unlocked.

I am currently using Core Prime 4G, but i tested these basebands on countless Samsung devices. I used to have Grand Prime too, but its big size was issue for me. I tested a number of different firmwares on that too.

Its always best to use the specific country firmware in which the phone was released or being used, but you can try the others and in 99.9 percent cases, they all worked perfectly fine with no complaints.

The issues (serious ones) mostly occur by not following procedure correctly.

Anyone using P8 Lite? I need to know the battery timing. My P8 Lite is not giving good battery time as per my use (3G all the time on). I have read mixed reviews on internet, some say battery is bad and some say its a charm. So any P8lite user kindly shed some light.

How many notifications do you get daily?
How many hours of standby do you get from 100-15% charge?
What the screen on time during 100-15% charge?
Any screenshots of detailed battery stats?

Without knowing these, no one can say that battery timings are poor.

Wakelocks are number 1 factor to cause poor battery timings. Even S6 has wakelocks problem sometimes.

Most phones are designed to last 4-8 hours of 'usage time/SoT' at max.

A friend is using P8 Lite (snapdragon variant) abroad and he is satisfied with its battery timings. According to him, it's above average to good, but not bad.

He gets around 4-5 hours 'screen on time' with Wifi/mobile data use, from 100-15% charge.

Something I learnt from my Huawei Honor 3C, which improves battery timings.

Too frequently used apps should be added on the ignore list in the Huawei power saver app. Apps opening and closing too frequently consumes more power than to leave it running in background.

The update is, our latest baseband is xxu, Russian Lollipop Version is xcu. It won't go from kitkat xxu to lollipop xcu. Odin fails it.

However i found xcu pak firmware, so it is yet to be tested by downgrading to xcu baseband and then try to install lollipop xcu.

guys i am facing a strange issue with my sony xperia l its screen flickers and multiple screens start to show up causing great confusion

If ur lcd is not internally damaged then it might be because of lose conector either the lcd to flex or flex to board depending which xperia is it. If it is repaired previosly thn check the conectors.

Well I tried to find original charger so much but failed every time, , , got 2 number chargers and they just got cooked , , may be it's voltage problem,

Guys, suggest between Samsung Galaxy A3 and E5.
E5 has 1.5 GB RAM instead of 1 but A3 has smaller display which is preferred. Thoughts?
