Just follow the Odin procedures carefully, correctly and keep the phone and laptop sufficiently charged for uninterrupted operation. You can also find firmwares here, though i prefer SamMobile. Search "XSG" (use find in page feature) and download latest one.

If you consider yourself a noob, then you can OTA update. That's easier and safer approach.

I also have the best overall experiences with XSG ones, their CSC is OJV too, so the CSC is also perfectly compatible for Pakistan and this region.

Both cameras (front and rear), battery timings and Samsung label are its main strengths. If you are a bit technical, then you can get sufficiently good performance out of it too. I suggest getting a used one with some warranty left, as it will lose resale value pretty soon.

Huawei is an excellent value for money brand. It even gives tough time to Xiaomi in China sometimes in market share. This shows their excellence.
One of the best overall branded phone in this price.
Great camera, almost best in this price.
Battery timings are ~4 hours screen on time, ~1 day. It does have few battery timings complaints.
64 bit 1.2 octa core (cortex A53). Octa core helps mostly in gaming only and not much in day to day use basic apps. Extremely snappy and solid performance.
8GB internal storage and apps can be directly installed to MicroSD card.
Compass, gyroscope and more sensors.
3G supported.
Marshmallow update announced for it.

Lenovo vibe P1M
Lenovo is also a great brand and it owns and controls Motorola and IBM PC division.
Better display quality, though both are equally sharp (294 ppi).
64 bit 1.0 quad core (cortex A53), but still snappy. Powerful enough for day to day use apps, but not powerful enough for very heavy games.
16GB internal and apps can be directly installed to MicroSD card.
Physical power saving button.
Battery timings are ~10-12 hours screen on time, ~2-3 days.
4G supported.
Latest software updates fixes many issues that are raised by the reviewers. Software updates improve performance, camera quality and battery timings etc.
It has two sim slot and 1 microSD card. (Gsmarena wrongly mentioned that its just one 1 sim and 1 hybrid slot)
USB OTG charging to charge other devices.
No compass, so it could be inconvenient while GPS navigation sometimes.
It will get marshmallow update hopefully.

I personally prefer best battery timings and its the first preference for me. But i cannot vote specifically until i know your exact specific requirements!

Not too much into games, I want a lag-free phone for daily usage, it has to be super reliable, has to have a good battery, a good display and good sound output, and should be rootable/customizable with ROMs. I really like how the P1m looks, the 4C looks meh. Also like all the extra perks in the P1m.

p8 lite is out of my budget!

Guys just flashed wrong recovery on g2 d802 and it entered in fast boot mode , now it's stucked , help please , I took it to a shop keeper and he failed to do anything.
