P8 Lite is best overall. Great brand, great quality, official warranty, great specs and great practical experience. Even with a tiny 2200mah battery, it gives ~4 or even more hours of "screen on time" on Internet usage with decent standby times which is perfectly fine.

Asus Zenfone 2 (2GB RAM) is actually the best option, but its not officially available here, but you can get it from abroad in ~$200. Its camera is now great after software updates, though the internet reviews say that its camera is not so great.

If he already owns a better camera phone, then i suggest Lenovo Vibe P1M as secondary phone, as it can charge other phones on the go with its massive 4000mah battery.

What do u say about p8lite screen brightness as one of my cousin owns it and he complains about screen brightness is not accurate in sunlight.

P8lite design is good. Nice feeling in hand. Camera is very good with option of setting manual focus on volume buttons & time lapse is a nice feature. Pixel density is less than my liking but good enough for the price.
Battery timing is very good with wifi and standby time. But I always felt its battery is not goof enough for 3G usage all day. My G2 had great battery timing comparatively (I know its 3000mah) its more upto my liking.
The dummy second speaker doesn't feel good.
Overall P8lite is great value for money.

Your cousin is 75% right.

To optimise power consumption for this 2200mah phone, the maximum peak brightness must be kept slightly lower. Its brightness is comparatively lower for outdoor usage, but its within acceptable limits. At full brightness with auto mode, its legible for light-normal usage.

Matte (non glossy) anti glare/reflective type screen protectors helps a lot in increasing sunlight legibility. They are anti fingerprints too, so the display remains cleaner. Using that helps.

Galaxy J5 offers crazy bright Super AMOLED display in same price, but has just 8GB ROM and lacks auto brightness sensor and even LG G4, a flagship with QuadHD display sunlight legibility is not great. So have to live with them, as nothing is perfect!

Both are excellent phones, and LG G2 is a GEM. Keep both of them or give one of these to someone at home.

You seem to have a really good LG G2, as most available at market are of no use. I highly suggest you to NOT sell it.

LG G2 even has Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) to minimise camera shakes significantly in low light photography and even in video recording, which is excellent for photography and a cutting edge feature.

My friend has Mate 7 gold for 9-10 months. It is a very good phone but not. Worth 47k as there are many new and better options available in market. Mate 7 simple is 2 gb version and definitely not worth it now.

It is a good phone but personally I'll prefer newer model as it was released back in 2014.
