Ringing Bells Freedom 251 for 500 Rupees:

4.0" LCD (a bit small) 1.3Ghz Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM (OOFF!!!), 3.2MP Camera, 1,450mAh (A tad tiny) and Android Lollipop! And looks like a clone of an iPhone 3 & 4 with same hardware button!

It rumoured to have a Mediatek MT6582 SoC, which maybe a 32-Bit SoC with ancient Mali-400MP4 GPU but in this price it's ridiculous! For reference, Qmobile S1 & S2 has the same chipset with same RAM (albeit bigger camera sensor and 2,000mAh battery)! And lets not forget Infinix Hot 2 or Qmobile A1 which is an AndroidOne product are also rocking MT6582 SoC's!

Rumours are suggesting MT6582... But I think it'll have a Spreadtrum 7731... Same Cortex A7 Quad Core SoC albeit lacking in quality and price!!! Always hanging, stuttering & heating-up... You may also find this Spreadtrum in Samsung Galaxy J1 and Huawei Y5!!! Oh, and also Qmobile i7i...!

So, what's your verdict?

I tried it and found out that Viper4Android is a waste of time. No use or very less useful. Phones have tiny speakers to begin with, so tinkering with its amplification is not going to make them sound like HTC BoomSound or dual front stereo speakers! Moreover, V4A is not going to make Rs. 500 earphones sound like Beats by Dr. Dre!.

The stock sound configuration is more than sufficient for most requirements and is even very well capable of working perfectly with Home Theatre systems or even high powered car Audio, as i use them on daily basis. A little bit of equalizer setting is all what is required. V4A creates more complications than convenience, especially while connecting different external sound sources.

Moral: Investing in good portable external speakers or good earphones is way better than wasting time on these!.

Lets hope they do give it. But as past experience Huawei Pakistan has never been bothered to timely update the devices. I changed my region to estonia and received these update.

Sony is good.
I got a 5000mAh portable one from Dubai, it was 150 AED = 4300 PKR.
It's started to lose some battery capacity, but keep in mind it is 2 years old.
Still works fine though. I charge my Nexus 6 with it sometimes.

My preference is huawei or Samsung. (Phone will be used for gaming, Facebook, Whatsapp, and some basic tasking).
I m looking for brand new options only so no used phone.
And most importantly the phone should have 2GB of ram.
So suggest me some good option from these above listed brands.
