guys i need suggestion for smartphone 20k range (no china mobile i.e no infinix huawei etc) so the bracket narrows down to lumia , samsung etc.

Upcoming Galaxy J5 (2016) is preferred over Galaxy J5 due to 16GB ROM, but it will be ~25000/-. 8GB ROM of J5 is only good enough for basic use ~ 30-50 apps at max. Photos and videos can be directly saved to MicroSD card, but apps cannot be installed to MicroSD card in Android Lollipop. Android M is expected to support direct installation of apps to MicroSD card in Samsung.

Lumia 640XL is rs. 18500/-. Carl ziess optics camera, capable enough to stand tall against last years flagships camera "easily". Its dynamic flash feature lets you remove, add and adjust flash intensity in post processing (even after taking photos), which is extremely useful. Moreover, manual shutter speed controls helps you capture blur free photos even in low lights or challenging scenarios. Capable enough to take long exposure photos upto 4 seconds. In simple words, Lumia cameras are like mini DSLRs, if you learn camera controls.

Currently using J5 and Lumia 640XL for day to day tasks with no major issues at all.

Non warranty model of J5 (J500G/F) supports LTE on both sims. Huawei P8 Lite is another option. Huawei is almost as good as Samsung in quality

Guys, what are your thoughts on OnePlus X? Or any other phones in that $200-260 price range?

These OnePlus phones actually OPPO. Its the best phone in its price. Its performance is just as smooth as stock Android!. It fully utilises 3GB RAM which is excellent for smoother multitasking. No NFC or fingerprint sensor, but no big issue!

Few days back, i had to choose between non warranty Honor 5X and OnePlus X and official warranty Lenovo Vibe A7010 (K4 Note) for a friend and I chose K4 Note and that turned out to be an excellent choice!

K4 Note was for rs. 27800/-. The official price of it is rs. 29900/-.

5.5 is just too much. Infinix Zero 2 is 5" but the bezels make it too big and uncomfortable which is why I felt the OnePlus X would be perfect. There are 2 versions from what I recall, US and Europe. Which one will support our networks?

Its a great phone. LG took a different approach, instead of just slamming in new specs they brought something innovative. I really love the modular features.

Yes because Samsung corrected its shortcomings with S6 and released a better device while LG went on with useless gimmickry stuff.
Anyways you have every right to disagree I was planning to replace my S4 with S6 but now i'll wait.

Lg's approach is cool but not usable in my case. I mean if I had it I would have never bought those extra accessories.
On the other hand, Galaxy S7 is barely an upgrade just it has a bigger battery and micro sd slot which is not ground breaking at all and lastly who cares about a bigger processor and water resistence, moreover it has the same touchwiz as of last year. Its better to wait for Note 6 or next Nexus device. They will be beasts with worthy upgrades.

Yes agree, There is no WOW factor in S7. One should buy Note 5

Why we're just focusing only on magic box of G5 ? Look at the specs they're definitely upgraded and suites a flagship. Magic box is an extra gimmick and revolution which so far none other has provided. IMHO G5 is better upgrade as compared to s7

No matter s7 or g5, after a year same reviewers who are calling it today the best phone will call them an agreeable phone , my sincere suggestion to all you is to keep your current phone until they die , I mean recently I bought s4 with a price tag of 14800 and when this phone came brand new it costed my cousin more then 70 k, and believe me it still worth it , my cousin said me to buy s5 or s6 instead of this or g3 but my budget was tight as I had bricked my recent g2, and regarding the g2 that is also a great phone performance wise. I don't know why do samsung and apple are launching new models every year??? Makes no reason. My mamu got s6 edge and believe me that phone is just perfect ( sd card issue remains there).
