No matter s7 or g5, after a year same reviewers who are calling it today the best phone will call them an agreeable phone , my sincere suggestion to all you is to keep your current phone until they die , I mean recently I bought s4 with a price tag of 14800 and when this phone came brand new it costed my cousin more then 70 k, and believe me it still worth it , my cousin said me to buy s5 or s6 instead of this or g3 but my budget was tight as I had bricked my recent g2, and regarding the g2 that is also a great phone performance wise. I don't know why do samsung and apple are launching new models every year??? Makes no reason. My mamu got s6 edge and believe me that phone is just perfect ( sd card issue remains there).

All these 5 inch display phones are pretty much same size (almost same dimensions) overall, no major difference. So changing it solely for better comfort will not be useful.

The Zero 2 has a massive bezel on the bottom and yet the buttons are on screen. The ergonomics just weren't considered with this phone. Makes it a little awkward to use everyday.

Yeah, for brand new box packed, but sellers demand insanely high money for them too.

OnePlus X has some limited edition model that is rs. ~35000/- too.

Samsung Galaxies in that range have 1GB RAM or 1.5GB RAM at max with 8GB ROM with no support of installing or downloading apps to microsd card (awful for gaming), which is expected to change in Android M, so your only options are Lenovo Vibe P1M, Honor 4C, Lumia 640XL and a few others.

Honor 4C has better camera than P1M, rest P1M is better in almost every aspect. Lumia 640XL has pro camera with Carl Ziess optics having a bunch of very useful camera features and solid performance like iPhones. Windows phone will meet most of the requirements.

Best wait few days for MWC 2016 and new models may launch.

And what about lenovo phones in 16k range with 2GB ram

Using s4 from past two years, and its seems like my phone can still run for 1.5 year more, camera is still decent, screen quality is good too. I agree with you there is no point of changing phone every year.

After so long they should atleast release a stable update. I hate this thing in android, all updates are late and are buggy at launch.
I hope we get a stable release now. Cant wait more.

Details tell that the issue faced was with the ROOTED phones only because of the Deep-Sleep mode disable in rooted Note 5
rest every thing working perfectly.

I have duos.... I am bound to wait for OTA update. I am not sure whether my phone will support single sim wala firmware.
XDA forum say that both have the same firmware.

Well firmware may be same but then mobile networks main not work coz I had grand prime and I install 5.1.1 on it which was made for single Sim variant, it ran the rom but Sims didn't work

Yes I have my i9505 for almost two years now and its just like brand new (kept with extreme care), battery timing is still more than 3 hrs of SOT but even if it is not enough you can always swap with a new one. Display is as crisp with no screen burn. I am running AOSP Marshmallow build which is almost as stable and lag free as Nexus phones. Only gripe I have is that its camera quality is not comparable with the latest phones like S6/G4.
