K4 Note runs slightly hotter like Honor 5x but it does not overheat. K5 Plus has FHD, and iPhone 6s had HD screen. Lenovo screen quality is mostly better than Huawei, but Lenovo has expensive display replacement (from service centre) since its nano coated. Though market repairing price is 1/2 to 1/3 of service centre price.
Most people complaining actually have not seen real overheating, which makes the phone stutter and lag very badly and to the point where it turns off automatically. That's overheating.
Even if the phone feels burning hot in hands while heavy usage, but it performs fast and fluid, that's just normal heating, not overheating. If you read further reviews, you will find out that snapdragon 615/616 have overheating issues. But to be honest, overheating is very rare in latest phones. if software and hardware is running good and if you are not a hard core gamer, then overheating rarely occurs.
But there are many other good options, these days you can get a very capable new official warranty phone in 20-22.
