I would say both hardware and os of iPhone is best but it is only stubborn behavior of Apple that only gives the android fanboys to think of comparing andoid with ios or Apple with something else
If Apple leaves its stubborn behavior there will be nothing left to compare

It's actually the other way around. The a12 bionic chip is actually the most powerfull chip right now. The iphone x last year had the best chipset around however as almost all reviews tell there was no phone with better software fluidity and optimization than the pixel 2 range. The software experience was the best on that and the oneplus.

Bro this is no proof of mobile being good if i show you pics of my family member redmi note 4 then its also almost same condition
But what my point of view about checking hardware quality is that the type of faults coming in particular set or brand must be checked whether they are coming due to some abuse or they are coming without any abusive treatment
If the hardware has been subjected to some sort of heat, drop, water, overcharging etc etc and then it gets damaged it means that you cannot blame hardware quality but if the faults are coming erroneously without any physical abuse it means that the quality standards are not good
So decision or verdict about a company’s hardware quality standard should be given only after analyzing faults history
My opinion about Xiaomi Redmi series quality is based on my own last 3 years experience and all faults i have seen just developed erroneously
I have not used Mi series myself therefore cant exactly comment on it but what i have seen in my colleagues is that Mi series set has not yet created problems even after 2-3 years

Actually, it's the inverse! No Snapdragon 8xx chip can hold a candle against an Apple chip in terms of raw performance! It's a fact.

Apple A12's single-core performance is comparable to my i5 laptop (Putting ARM and X86-64 architecture differences aside).

iOS used to be great but now, it's poorly optimized and has a TON of bugs. The iOS 12 has "Charging Gate" (It's currently trending on BBC!) which is kind of a HUGE deal and passcode hack vulnerability, and that's probably just the beginning. And don't get me started about iOS 11!

The essence of iOS went away with Steve Jobs... The last 'true' iOS was iOS 6!

But guess what, it still works excellent on iOS 10 and with further updates.

iOS 10 is over 2 years old now. The current version of iOS is 12, in case you haven't noticed!

You love Apple, whereas I love a good smartphone (Regardless of brand or OS) so...

Guys how’s Samsung Note 9?
I bought note 8 and sold it within 2 days. It had a terrible lag and horrible fingerprint placement.
Currently I am using iPhone 7 Plus and it’s perhaps the best phone I have ever bought and the only phone I used for 2 years but now just for this year I am planning to switch to Android because XS Max is pricy and it still doesn’t seem as big of an upgrade as I was anticipating. Perhaps next iPhone will be a solid upgrade which for sure I will get.

P.S I have kept almost all Note series. Used android for 7 years straight. No doubt enjoyed it but just Android lacks optimisation and I hope Note 9 doesn’t disappoints.

Bluetooth headset with built in caller id feature issue.

On incoming calls, lady speaks caller number and not caller name. I tried bypassing that with third party app, but lady still speaks. Tried multiple phones with same results.

How to make her quiet, so that i can use app for caller name announcer?

Or how do i make her say caller name?

Everything works perfect on Bluetooth headset with no caller id feature, with third party app. But Bluetooth headset with built in caller id is very very annoying and cannot be customised in my case.

I'm not sure why you got lag on a note 8, my friend bought one when it just came out and is still using it. Hasn't even stuttered a bit. Here plays very graphic intensive games such as fortnite and pubg on it and it hasnt dissapointed yet. The only problem with the note 8 was it's fingerprint scanner placement and the dreaded samsung ui and bixby. The note 9 is an overall better phone than the note 8 and its camera is, according to most reviewers better than the new iphone xs series, if you're into that. I think it's the best looking phone it off all that have launched this year. Also it has the best display out of all phones ever.
You should get it but first check the display units at a samsung store because it's a pretty big phone you may not like the size because it won't easily fit inside a pocket.
