The dynamic range is simply impressive. Notice how the camera sensor managed to capture the shadowy interior of the building, despite the picture being taken in broad daylight without HDR.
It's just... crazy!
Notice how the sky is 100% visible and isn't overexposed and blown out. As far as I can tell, this camera has ZERO over and under exposure, very much like a budget DSLR with decent lenses.
Although there seems to be a bit of oversharpening going on and colors are a bit oversaturated as well (Sky looks a bit bluer and a tad artificial), but apart from that that the camera is a beast! Besides, most people prefer oversaturation, so it might be a good thing for you, who knows?
The crazy, almost insane dynamic range is enough reason to buy this phone, at least in my book.
Of course, Xiaomi Note 8 Pro's camera isn't too far behind either, but its dynamic range isn't as impressive, at least in my opinion. Besides, its Mediatek SoC is a major letdown.
